After asking about how much a roofing project costs, the next question we get is “What will the install process be like"?”.

INITIAL ROOFING CALL & ESTIMATE, EASING THE NERVES

Typically San Diego home owners will call us out of a need. A new roof typically isn’t looked at like other more vanity style home improvement projects. So, you may have a leak or an inspector let you know that you need it, or you just bought a new home and it’s time for replacement. A way to ease these nerves and get some excitement about the project is to look at a new roof as an investment, one that actually increases the value of your home!

OUR ROOFING INSTALLATION PROCESS IN SAN DIEGO

A lot of home owners get worried about the tear off process. I mean you have a bunch of people walking all over your roof tearing it apart! This is all part of the process at Resilient Roofing, we always take off the current roofing and don’t do “layovers”. This part can get scary as your home is exposed to the elements during this time. Your roof structure is completely exposed. We’ll make sure weather conditions are ideal before starting a project like this and fortunately in San Diego, it’s less of a worry than other parts of the country.

The main reason we only do full tear downs is to check for potential wood damage from leaks. Leaks can happen without you knowing they ever occurred and with each season that it goes unnoticed wood damage can occur. We’ll make sure that if there’s any damage you’ll know about it and your options for repair/replace.

Once our structure inspection is done we’ll be ready to start working on your new roof. It may be noisy and you’ll have our expert team up on the roof tearing and building. We’ll start waterproofing and then finally finish the roofing top layer, which is what you’ve waiting for. When all is said and done you’ll have a beautiful new roof for your home.
